Sometimes it’s hard to receive

I’ll probably write more in depth about this later next week, but I saw this article on the Fox News site and it struck me that it might be better to give than receive, but sometimes it really is hard to JUST receive.  Grace is unmerited, unearned, and, at times, very hard to accept.  Hopefully I’m a better recipient than these folks, because God is all about giving us grace.

Great time with the guys

I had a great time with a group of pastors touring the Bobcats arena. Sydney came along too, since she wasn’t feeling good.

The tour was brief and we didn’t see Michael Jordan. Oh well.

So, I get up early this morning to read the Bible and prune my cell phone contact list in prep for the iPhone conversion later, and when I opened my browser, this was staring me in the face on the home page of Fox News.

Thanks, guys.  I almost threw up.
