Make 704 Happen

It’s been something that has been discussed, dreamed, planned, and debated for years, but once again That Youth Thing is making a push to bring a youth center to the students of Stanly County. With just under 12,000 students in the area, there has never been more of a need than there is now to provide them a place to go that will close the ever-increasing gap between the church and their culture. Our prayer is that 704 will be able to do just that. You can follow the movement at the official campaign website, make704happen.com.

    I am 16 and i say we need this place. ist will change soooooo many lives of the teens in stanly county like u would never believe… me and my friends are always complaining about we have no place to go and have fun. in a safe a christian enviroment

    I am 34 and I AGREE we need this place.
    As a mother of a 12 and 14 year old, and as one who has worked with youth in one way or another for the last 10 years+….I’m willing to do whatever I can!
