What are you full of?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Ask yourself what you’re full of? Are you:

Hopeful?
Faithful?
Thankful?
Fearful?
Grateful?
Thoughtful?
Doubtful?
Prideful?
Purposeful?
Worshipful?
Beautiful?
Wonderful?
Stressful?
Resentful?
Powerful?
Peaceful?

We could go on, and I’m sure you have others you could add to the list. We’re all full of something.

We can’t give ourselves fully to one thing when we’re full of something else. The first leaves no room for the second because, well, we’re full.

[Tweet “We can’t give ourselves fully to one thing when we’re full of something else.”]

Jesus fully embraced His mission to the cross because He emptied Himself first (see Philippians 2). We must do the same because it’s hard to be faithful if we’re already fearful, or resentful, or hateful.

Let the Spirit deal with the things that are taking up too much space in your soul, and you’ll find yourself cleaned out and ready to be filled with the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5.

This is how we become fruitful.
