A Kingdom reversal

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Romans 12:21 paints a perfect picture of how the Kingdom of God reverses the situations that we face.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:21‬ ‭NIV)

Not only does the chapter and verse show us a reversal (1-2-2-1), but the verse actually reveals a reversal. In a culture where so many are overcome by evil, we are called to the opposite. We’re commanded by God to live out a Kingdom reversal, and overcome evil with good.

It’s a command given by a King who is good and does good (Psalm 119:68), and who calls His Kingdom citizens to the same. Go do good today, and overcome the evil that is trying to overcome so many.
