Be a regifter

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Most of us don’t like regifters. Those are the people who take a gift they’ve been given and then give it to someone else as if they originally bought the gift for that person.

Maybe don’t be that type of regifter, but let’s look at it from another angle, okay?

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. (1 Peter‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬, emphasis mine)

God has given all of us gifts, and He intends what we just read: that we would take His gifts to us and use them to give to others.

God isn’t about just giving gifts to us, but also through us. He wants us to become conduits of blessings, not just connoisseurs of them. Rivers, not just reservoirs.

[Tweet “God wants us to become conduits of blessings, not just connoisseurs of them.”]

What gifts do you have that you can give away to the people you encounter today? Don’t just keep them for yourself. Ask God how He would want you to regift them in the lives of others and then, do it. Regift like crazy!
