Today we celebrate because today is The B99’s birthday.

Of course, we are thankful for Wendy every single day, but being for thankful for someone (or something) all the time doesn’t mean we shouldn’t also celebrate them at special times.

Birthdays, anniversaries, and other special days are great days to make a big deal about the people who make our lives bigger.

I think we’ve lost the art of celebrating in the normal, and that makes it a little less special when we celebrate on special occasions.

Consider how awkward our birthday celebration would be for Wendy today if she felt that she was invisible on all the other 364 days of the year! When we learn to make celebrating the norm, we lay the foundation that can truly make celebrating special.
