Living simply

Reading Time: < 1 minute

It isn’t easy to live simply.

One of the greatest things Google has done is keep the same simple home page.

But don’t think for a second that there isn’t a lot of effort and resources behind that simple look.

It takes absolutely no effort to become cluttered and unorganized. Nobody ever sets aside a day to clutter and mess up their workspace! We set time aside to declutter and straighten our workspaces.

Search and you’ll find a bazillion books on minimalism. There are tons of resources to help you think your closet. Why? Because to scale back requires focus and intentional effort.

Sure, it’s probably a lifelong battle, but it’s one worth fighting.

We own things, and if we aren’t intentional about living simply, eventually those things will own us. Learn from Google — fight hard to maintain simplicity.
