DAY THIRTY-NINE (Job 25 – 41)
As long as our perspective is horizontal (“I’m not as bad as you”), we can argue passionately about our innocence. (Job 27:5-6)
Job 31:5-6 – Even as he maintains his innocence, Job recognizes that only God has honest scales.
Job 32:1-3 is a pretty good summary of the book to that point!
Job 38:1 – after all of the ranting by Job and his “friends” it is a relief to finally hear the voice of God. Interesting, too, that He speaks from the storm.
Do we blame God or bow to God? (Job 40:8)
