Reading Time: < 1 minuteI realized that I didn’t blog a single time about this week’s hundredpushups.com challenge or my 8th week in the One Hour Runner training program, so we’ll just do it all in one post. Besides, that’s the way it should be since Friday’s a re ending days for the week-long segments in both programs. So, without further ado, let’s move on to the results. Envelope, please…
100 pushups W4D1: 27-20-20-17-[33] for a total of 117 push ups
100 pushups W4D2: 27-21-21-18-[35] for a total of 120 push ups
100 pushups W4D3: 30-22-22-20-[41] for a total of 135 push ups
So, it’s onto Week 5. I was surprised how well this week went because I barely got the required numbers done at the end of Week 3. I think I figured out that it’s better to do the push ups before I run. And speaking of running, I logged my last run of Week 8 in the OHR program. It was my longest to date – 49 minutes covering 4.71 miles. Very cool stuff. I was amazed how good I felt during the run, and I don’t think I’ll have any trouble competing in the Nike+ Human Race 10k at the end of the month. I can’t wait!
