DAY ELEVEN (Numbers 8:15 – 21:7)
Numbers 9:15-23 describes a very flexible, mobile situation. The people of God would have had no knowledge about how long or short their stay would be in certain places where they camped. The would learn not to “fall in love” with any specific place, and would have always known that they were traveling to a home. There is no room for personal rights or agendas when we’re following God’s glory. It’s often uncomfortable, as well.
God isn’t always about His people having job satisfaction. Moses didn’t like his. (Numbers 11:11-14)
Don’t mess with humble leaders! (Numbers 12:3-8)
What would you do if God offered to kill the very people trying to kill you? Moses asked God to forgive them. (Numbers 14:10-19)
