…is Tarheel nation starting to come up with excuses for getting punked at home against the dreaded rivals from the more manly blue-colored school, Duke. Oddly enough, this time it was the BABY blue wearing boys who got the bulk of the calls from the referees and also plenty of love from the TV guys (does Billy Packer have a man crush on Tyler Hansbrough or what?). And yet, they lost.
Let the whining begin…

1-we did get our tails kicked
2-there were bad calls both ways, just like any game ever. whining about such as the victor is just as bad as doing so as the loser.
3-Packer usually hates the heels, but I did notice an abnormal obsession with them last night. strange.
4-I feel a beasting coming on in Cameron in about a month.
5-no excuses here. just a crappy ballgame by a talented team
6-what’s State’s record by the way? I couldn’t remember…
The answer to number 6 is 4-4 in the conference and 15-7 overall. They’re not as good as UNC or Duke, but no State fan would claim to be right now. They are, though, a mere one game out of 3rd place in the conference.
