Reading Time: < 1 minute

Our Wi-Fi was slow this morning. When I ran a speed test, the answer was, “You’re kidding, right?” It was sooooooooo slow. It was sloth in Zootopia slow.

What improved it? Simply choosing the option to reset the router. That proved invaluable to clearing up the connection and immediately improving the speed.

Sometimes, our connection with God gets gunked up with all kinds of distractions that eventually cause delays in our conversation with Him. The slowness can get frustrating, and we can find ourselves blaming God for it. Perhaps we simply need to reset the connection. How? By remembering what connected us in the first place.

His grace.

His lovingkindness.

His faithful and gentle hand.

His forgiveness.

His love.

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. (Psalms‬ ‭77:11‬ ‭NIV, emphasis mine)

He hasn’t forgotten you or me. He’s the same today as He was yesterday and will be tomorrow. Pause and remember that, and you’ll find the connection improving.
