In the New American Standard Bible, the first four words of Isaiah 29:16 describe God, and they pack a punch!
“You turn things around!”
What it doesn’t say is anything about the turning apart from the fact that God will turn things.
It could be a big turn or a small turn. A fast turn or a slow turn. It could be the turn of one person or a city full of people.
We may not know the description of the turning, but let’s not allow that to keep us from the declaration of the turning.
You turn things around, Lord!
